The Triplets of Belleville, the first thing that I notice was the fingers of the triplets; guess what they only have 4 fingers which made the animated feels like it’s a Disney film with vivid and imaginative shapes. For example the French Mafia subordinates with a square shaped body. The Triplets of Belleville gives the audience a fresh kind of looks with the unique shapes of the body and its character and a film that is beyond the protagonist and antagonist with the having of two main characters. One of which is the Champion and the other would be his grandmother, madam Souza.A unique file with unique characters and unique shapes, and the interplay between characters that is this film has no “real” dialogue, compromise with characters like the dog Bruno that barks whenever a train passes. It includes those funny actions which madam Souza did to her grandson, like for example after their training; she will massage for her in a way just made the audience go in awe. Which goes the same as when the Triplets of Belleville, eating frogs and how they actually catch the frogs. It’s EPIC!
Using music, and sound effects to create this dialogue free film; is just so wonderful and amazing that how without dialogue we can also understand fully what the film is actually trying to say and with deeper understanding.
The climax of the film whereby when the mafia in the gambling dens nearly start shooting, how the triplets and madam Souza escape from them each details, each story line is just so wonderful. What will the story be without these strong characters and the bridge in the middle and the introduction of the triplets? I just wonder.
Using Paris famous tower to fix the wheels, all these made this film a very interesting and the whole story reveals the love the grandmother love for his grandson, by destroying any obstacles in front of her to save the grandson.
The dramatic ending, with Disney liked feel character made it into a must watch film that encompass the element of love and a never say die spirit to save the grandson; Champion.
It's not the last farewell ♥
